Who is the author?

Robin Harford. He is an ethnobotanist, professional forager and wild food educator. 

Robin is the founder of Eatweeds.co.uk, which many consider to be the foremost UK site on wild edible plants.

He has been teaching people about their local edible landscape since 2008. 

In 2017 BBC Countryfile voted his foraging courses the best in the UK, placing him at #1 in their Top 10 chart.

Robin travels extensively documenting and recording the traditional and local uses of wild food plants in indigenous cultures, and more recently his work has taken him to Africa, India, SE Asia and Europe.

He is a co-director of Plants & Healers International, a non-profit that connects people, plants and healers around the world.
